Great night at Huset's Speedway!
9m Marlon Jones and the crew really worked hard and we amost pulled off a win. A 4th place Finish and 2nd in the Heat Race, GOOD JOB and thank you to Marlon and the whole Team!!

The 9d Bmod Darren Wendt ran Saturday at I-90 and had to pull in the pits with motor problems. We hope to have fixed this week? Car handled good just would not go over 5000 rpms.. That won't work!!
Darren has worked hard to put this motor togather and we will use better springs in it and it should be fine.

Update!!
Huset's Speedway ALL STAR RACE NIGHT!!
We struggled with a engine problem in Qualifying but came out a won our Heat Race!!
We made the A Main and Started 20th out of 24 cars. Finished 18th and even lost our brakes in first lap. Good Job Marlon!!! Kept it moving up without the brakes. We had a good Race car tonight and were happy with our outcome even with the problems we had. 18th out of 31 cars on this Special Night of Races, not too bad.
We will have a very busy monday and tuesday getting ready for trip to Knoxville Wednesday morning. We will Qualify on Thursday Night.
We are all excited to bring a good quality car to the Nationals and Compete with the Best in the World. Thank You to the whole Team.
Time to work hard and most of have some real FUN at Nationals!!

UPDATE!
9d B-MOD blew the motor last weekend at Hartford and hopefully will be ready for this Saturday!
9m Marlon Jones Sprint Car Started the night with a new motor and worked it in finsihing 9th in the 'A' Main at Husets. Hopefully we finish next weekend strong before Knoxville trip. We will be qualifing on Thursday Night Aug. 7th.
9a Mini-Sprint Finished 9th Last weekend started 19th and moved up through the pack well.

Sunday Huset's Speedway
We found our Brakes on the 410 Sprint Car and then we started losing them again??? CRAZY THING Lately!!
Marlon's 9m Sprint Car Placed 7th in the 'A' Main Tonight Anyway. A good job of driving with what he had. The car looks very fast and hopefully we have a lot better brakes next week and can Race on the Top side. Were on our way back up. GOD JOB Marlon!

B-Mod team had a tough Night! Darren 9d Did Ok in the heat race but had a clutch going out and in the 'A' Main was forced to the pits with a left Bump Bar falling off from some ruff driving drivers Hiting him repeatedly in first 2 laps. Pulled in DNF! Better job next week. 8th in Total Points.

Update on B-mod
Darren really started to RACE the car tonight! Bumping and grinding and even a pass or 2. He held off the last 6 cars running in the ‘A’ Main and Passed one more before the end. He spun the tires at take off and dropped 8 spots right away but then kept in the hunt till the end. Good Job! Fun race but, beat up some panels and bars.

Darren Wendt 9d B-MOD had a very impressive weekend. He ran the week before at Huset’s and had a Drive shaft break in the ‘A’ Main, but showed He could drive the track without a spinout and avoided a wreck in front of him and the driver behind Him T-Boned the Wrecked Car. We were very pleased! This Saturday Darren drove for the first time at I-90 Speedway and kept with the pack the whole race. Showing He could move up to a higher speed that Night. Sunday He really started making a move. He was able to stay up close to front in Heat Race and Started on Pole in ‘A’ Main, where He learned a lesson in ( better get with it, or get pushed out of the way). He was bullied a bit by the Driver behind Him and at the start He spun out in front stretch. He moved to back and was able to pass a car and stay with the pack leader within half the track. Very GOOD night for Darren! Showed guts and was moving a lot faster than last week. Darren is excited to race next weekend and we plan to open it up a bit more with a racier set up!

Marlon Jones 9m Won The Heat Race Sunday at Huset's Speedway and Placed 4th in the 'A' Main Event. There were 27 410 Outlaw Sprints on hand with World of Outlaw Tour Drivers in the mix too.
Right at the First of the race, Marlon put on a show down the the Front of the Stands with a Wheelie going most of the way down the Front stretch. A wheel stand that was so high His Rear Bumper was dragging in the dirt. The pounding of the car ended up breaking the Heal stop on the throttle foot feet and move it up where He did not have Full Throtle the rest of the race. We feel He could have won it if that didn't occur. All in all it was a fun filled night of racing for the Empire Racing Team.
